White Gum

White Gum is our premium hardwood — one of the hottest and longest-burning firewood species available in New Zealand. Dense and slow-burning, it's perfect for serious heat output and all-day fires. Once established, White Gum produces a deep bed of coals that radiates heat long after the flames die down.

Gum takes time to do right — our White Gum is seasoned in log form for a minimum of 12 months, often 2–3 years, before cutting and splitting. It's then shed-stored until delivery to ensure it's dry and ready to burn from day one.

Split to approximately 300mm — fits all modern fireplaces and log burners.

Tip: Pair with a cubic metre of Lawsoniana to make lighting easy, then add White Gum once the fire is established.
